Personal and Family Adjustment/Counselling AL-ANON/ALATEEN FAMILY GROUPS Description:
Support groups that share experiences, strengths and hopes related to
problems due to alcoholism. Al-Anon and Adult Children of Alcoholics
groups are for family members, relatives and/or friends of alcoholics.
Young people who have been affected by alcoholism in a family member or
close friend are encouraged to participate. All groups meet year round,

The services aim to enhance and promote the mental of all persons and
support the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental
illness in our community through education, prevention, advocacy and
services. CMHA offers a range of services to address the mental health
needs of the community, from information and referral, public education
and prevention services; to services tailored to meet the needs of
individuals recovering from mental illness. Primary care services are
now available on site through a new satellite Community Health Centre
for individuals with mental illness and also for the general public

21-day residential treatment program for women with a chemical
dependency. Provides counselling, day treatment program, continuous
after-care and follow-up services. Self-help and support groups are

skills services based on need. Professionally trained staff provide
career exploration and guidance, re-employment/re-training options and
alternatives, current labour market information, vocational assessment
