Security Reassurance Program

"The Security Reassurance Program is a free telephone service for seniors!"
Kathy Blanchard is your contact.
What is Security Reassurance?
The Security Reassurance Program was designed to provide a
service that will enable our seniors to live independently in their homes.
The knowledge that the community is committed to our seniors' safety and security
will enhance their quality of life. Its purpose is to regularly telephone
the seniors to check on their well being and comfort. In the event that further
help is needed, we will assist with any follow up.
How Does Security
Reassurance Work?
The program provides a multi-level service, which is decided by the client
upon registration. The client may choose to be telephoned twice a week, once
a week, twice a month, or once a month. They can also decide on the time of
day to be called (morning or afternoon) between 9am-12pm, and 1pm-4pm.
How Do You Register?
You register either by calling Kathy Blanchard at (519) 736-5471 or by dropping
by the Amherstburg Community Services office at 601 Sandwich St. S. from 9am-12pm,
1pm-4pm and filling out an application.
Funding
The program is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
Amherstburg Community Services is a non-profit charitable organization
registered with Revenue Canada.
All donations received are appreciated and eligible for receipts for income
tax purposes.
