ACS is celebrating local seniors in Amherstburg, LaSalle, Harrow and McGregor all month long as June 2016 marks the 32nd recognized Seniors’ Month.
We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting numerous initiatives for local seniors, including: a bus tour through Essex County greenhouses on June 06; one free lunch for seniors who signs up for the Friendly Social Seniors congregate dining group or Meals on Wheels program during the month of June; one free local round trip to seniors who registers for the CareLink transportation service through ACS during the month of June; and we will be featuring bios of at least four local seniors who inspire us and contribute to their communities.
