Everyone at ACS hopes all of you had a wonderful and safe Canada day last week, and we would also like to say happy Independence Day weekend to our neighbors to the South. For those of you who went to Ribfest as well, I can assume based on personal experience that your weekend was filled with awesome food and some really great entertainment. And finally, we would like to congratulate the US Women’s National Soccer Team for their historic Women’s World Cup Victory. Yup, you can say there were a couple of different things to pay attention to this weekend.
There are also quite a few new things to look forward to with ACS though. Anyone reading this likely already knows about our Fill-a-Backpack event coming up on August 22. We are also trying to get the new St. Clair Student Shuttle lifted off. We already have some seats filled, so if you are a student, or know a student living in the county who needs a ride, make sure they know about this awesome opportunity.
We have also setup a new TV in our lobby which can display digital ads to our clientele. This one goes out to the business owners out there in particular, who might be looking for some inexpensive but effective advertising options.
But of course, we have saved the best for last. We are currently trying to arrange a wine-crawl for September where people can enjoy a night out enjoying the best that Amherstburg wine bars have to offer. Never a dull moment with ACS.
